In an interview with BBC News, Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille expressed significant concerns about the possibility of organizing elections in the country before the deadline of February 7, 2026. Conille, visibly frustrated, pointed to the unfulfilled promises of the United States and the slow delivery of security materials by Haiti’s allied countries. “We are facing a lack of tangible support from the international community, which makes it extremely difficult to meet the deadlines set for the elections,” he stated.
