Political Scientist Ené Val Appointed New Spokesperson for the Haitian Prime Minister’s Office

The government officially inaugurated Ené Val today as the new Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office during a ceremony held as part of the “Tuesdays of the Nation” initiative. His appointment reflects a broader effort to establish communication that is coherent, accessible, and grounded in transparency.

Introducing the government’s new voice, legal advisor Maître Axène Joseph praised Val’s distinguished background, which combines law, philosophy, and political science. “The Prime Minister sees in Mr. Val the embodiment of a republican voice that is structured, responsible, and accessible,” he stated.

Amid warm applause, Ené Val expressed his gratitude to the head of government for this show of trust. He pledged to ensure “rigorous, continuous, and transparent communication,” with a focus on accountability and citizen engagement.

Vowing to establish a strong relationship with the media, the new spokesperson affirmed his full availability to respond to press inquiries. He aims to make this role “a tool of explanation, dialogue, and clarity” at a time when political communication is of critical importance.
