Magalie Habitant, Former State Employee Arrested by DCPJ in Laboule

Laboule, January 9, 2025 – Magalie Habitant, the former Director-General of the National Solid Waste Management Service (SNGRS), was arrested today by officers of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) in Laboule. 

The arrest was confirmed by Lionel Lazarre, Deputy Spokesperson for the Haitian National Police (PNH). However, authorities have not yet disclosed the reason for her detention.
