This Monday, at the Official Residence, a ceremony was held for the new divisional inspector Ronald Léveillé, taking office as Head of the Prime Minister’s Security Unit (USPM). The ceremony was chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille.
Former Acting Deputy Chief of the USPM, Ronald Léveillé has nearly 20 years of experience within this crucial unit. His main mission will be to ensure the personal security of Prime Minister Garry Conille and his family. He will also be responsible for securing the official building where the Head of Government resides.
The event took place in the presence of Me Camille Edouard Junior, Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Mr. Frantz Mathurin, Central Director of the Administrative Police (DCPA). In his speech, Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille welcomed the new Head of the USPM, expressing gratitude for the faithful services rendered by Ronald Léveillé within the security unit.
Dr. Garry Conille highlighted the commitment and leadership of divisional inspector Ronald Léveillé, with whom he had already collaborated during his first mandate as Prime Minister in 2012. The Prime Minister expressed his confidence in Léveillé’s capacity to lead the USPM with competence and dedication.
In his speech, Ronald Léveillé thanked the Prime Minister for the trust granted. He pledged to effectively and efficiently manage the security of the Prime Minister and maintain a high level of vigilance to protect the Head of Government and his relatives.
