Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé officially presented his new cabinet on March 3, 2026, during a ceremony at the Villa d’Accueil in Port-au-Prince. Public authorities, diplomats, and representatives from various sectors attended this political moment marking a new phase of the transition.
The Prime Minister praised the work accomplished by the outgoing team in a context of acute crisis and defended the formation of the new cabinet as the culmination of a political commitment set out in the National Pact for Stability and the Organization of Elections.
The tone was direct: it is now time for execution. He demanded strict, transparent, and results-oriented management from his ministers for the benefit of the population.
Security remains central, with the announcement of strengthened capacities for the Police Nationale d’Haïti and the Forces Armées d’Haïti to regain control of areas dominated by armed groups. The executive promises coordinated action to durably restore state authority.
At the same time, the government intends to revive the economy and prepare credible elections by putting in place the necessary institutional and logistical mechanisms, with the stated objective of restoring constitutional order and political stability.
