The National School of Financial Administration (ENAF in French) resumed its activities on Monday by welcoming its thirteenth cohort, composed of forty-four trainees. These future technicians are beginning an intensive training program focused on public finance, aimed at strengthening the administrative competence of the State.
Presiding over the opening ceremony, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alfred Fils Métellus, highlighted ENAF’s role as a cornerstone of institutional development. He urged the trainees to uphold discipline and rigor, reminding them that “success in public service depends on a sense of duty and perseverance.”
The minister also expressed gratitude to the Congregation of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, particularly Brother Edwing Zamy, for providing a temporary facility that enables the institution to continue its mission. This collaboration was praised as an example of solidarity in support of training public-sector professionals.
In the presence of ENAF’s vice president and Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Jean Bouco Jean-Jacques, officials presented the structure of the program. The trainees will first study the fundamentals of Treasury, Taxation, Customs, Auditing, Economics, and Accounting before beginning their second year of specialization.
