Sunrise Airways Suspends Its Connections With Port-au-Prince Due To Insecurity

The airline Sunrise Airways announced on Monday the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from Port-au-Prince. This decision comes amid deteriorating security conditions around the Toussaint Louverture International Airport.

In an official statement, the company specified that this suspension would remain in effect for the rest of the day, emphasizing the protection of passengers, crew, and all staff as its top priority.

Sunrise Airways invites affected travelers to contact its services or their travel agency in order to obtain information, reschedule, or receive appropriate assistance.

The company indicates that it is closely monitoring the evolution of the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities and assures that the resumption of operations will be announced as soon as security conditions allow.
