Ministry of Justice Announces Launch of the Political Parties Capacity-Building Program

November 5, 2025

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP in French) has announced the official launch, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, of the Political Parties Capacity-Building Program. The event will be held at the Karibe Convention Center starting at 9 a.m., according to a statement released on October 30.

This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening democracy through the technical and institutional support of political organizations. Minister Patrick Pélissier praised “the commitment of the political class” and reaffirmed the Transitional Presidential Council’s determination to create a climate conducive to the holding of credible elections.

The program aims to provide party leaders and officials with practical tools to improve their internal operations and strengthen their participation in the electoral process. According to the MJSP, this represents a decisive step toward modernizing political life and consolidating democratic governance.

By launching this initiative, the ministry reaffirms its central role in promoting inclusive and responsible political dialogue. “The government remains determined to implement all necessary conditions for the proper conduct of the upcoming electoral contests,” concluded the statement signed by Dr. Patrick Pélissier.
