France Releases €2 Million to Support the Reintegration of Repatriated Haitians

France has announced funding of €2 million aimed at supporting the reintegration of repatriated Haitians. This support, conveyed through the French Embassy in Haiti to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is intended to strengthen reception and reintegration systems in the country.

According to the information provided, the contribution will be used to improve humanitarian assistance for repatriated individuals, notably through logistical support at border crossings, emergency food aid, and expanded access to healthcare services. The program also aims to boost local economic recovery by supporting the creation of income-generating activities.
