June 2, 2026

Businessman Roger Germain, owner of Gamma Laboratory, was assassinated early this morning on Bourdon Road, near the reservoir, following a kidnapping attempt, according to consistent reports.

While heading to his company located in Lalue, his vehicle, an armored gray Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with license plate AA 42960, was intercepted before being riddled with bullets. The victim was reportedly executed inside the car.

The vehicle remained immobilized on the roadway between OPC and the Bourdon reservoir, severely disrupting traffic in the area. Police officers and a justice of the peace went to the scene to conduct legal investigations.

The exact motives for the attack remain unknown at this stage.
