The Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) is participating, starting this Monday, July 13, in the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and the High-Level Segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York.
The Haitian delegation is led by the Minister of Planning, Dr. Sandra Paulemon.
This participation is part of the government led by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé’s desire to strengthen Haiti’s presence in major international forums dedicated to development and to consolidate its partnerships with the international community.
The agenda includes discussions on accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), development financing, international cooperation, and preparation for the 2027 SDG Summit.
On the sidelines of the proceedings, the Minister will hold several bilateral meetings to promote the reforms undertaken by the government and to mobilize new support for Haiti’s sustainable development.
