Assassination Of Jovenel Moïse: U.S. Justice Tracks Florida Network

April 1, 2026

More than four years after the assassination of Jovenel Moïse, U.S. authorities are actively investigating connections in Florida.

Prosecutors have outlined a network involving businessmen, former informants, and security firms based in southern Florida.

Investigators have seized contracts, emails, and financial records linking several suspects to a plot involving Colombian ex-military recruits.

Among those cited are Christian Sanon and John Joel Joseph.

The defense disputes this narrative, suggesting internal involvement by Haitian security forces.
