Under the leadership of Prime Minister Alix Didier Gils-Aimé, the Government is intensifying the implementation of the Multisectoral Emergency Program for School Year Support and Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (PUMARSVG in French). Coordinated by the FAES in partnership with Natcom through its Natcash platform, this program aims to directly assist parents as the 2025–2026 school year approaches.
The statement specifies that payments to eligible families are proceeding according to the planned schedule, in line with government priorities. “The objective is to ease the financial burden on households at a crucial time of the year,” the Prime Minister’s Office indicated.
As of October 10, 2025, 72,798 beneficiaries out of 115,186 registered had already received their subsidies, for a total of 1.116 billion gourdes disbursed. The average amount per beneficiary stands at 15,342 gourdes, reflecting an execution rate of 63%.
This performance, the statement highlights, demonstrates the Government’s firm commitment to honoring its promises to Haitian families within a framework of transparency and fairness. To ensure better communication, Natcom Fintech Center and FAES have set up a direct information system using SMS and an automated callbot.
A message in Creole is also sent to each parent that reads:
“Parent, Natcom is informing you… you will receive a subsidy of 15,342 gourdes under the Multisectoral Emergency Program.”
This approach aims to ensure understanding and build trust among beneficiaries in the process.
Finally, the Government calls for patience from the remaining parents, while promising payment of the remaining 37% “as soon as possible.” Through this initiative, Prime Minister Gils-Aimé reaffirms that the State remains determined to protect purchasing power, ensure children’s schooling, and strengthen social cohesion.
