Richelson Megzane, also known as “Blanc,” was arrested on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, by Southeast Haiti Police for the brutal beheading of a man with a machete. The crime took place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, in Bois de Gauche, the 7th communal section of Bainet.

Born in October 2004, the suspect had been on the run since the gruesome act, which deeply shocked the local population. “He had been a fugitive for over two months,” confirmed the Haitian National Police in a statement.
