The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has announced the organization of two days dedicated to public dialogue and government services, branded MEF EXPO, scheduled for January 30 and 31, 2026, at the Karibe Hotel. Held under the theme “Nou vin pi pre w pou n tande w e sèvi w pi byen” (“We are coming closer to listen to you and serve you better”), the initiative aims to bring the financial administration closer to citizens.
The event targets a broad audience, including civil society, the press, users of public administration, the private sector, universities, and NSIV classes. According to the MEF, these days are intended to foster exchanges “with the various institutions that make up the ministry.”
Participants will be able to meet representatives from the General Directorate of Taxes, the General Customs Administration, and the ULCC, among others. On-site services will also be offered, including “driver’s license and vehicle insurance renewal.”
Admission is free, but space is limited and subject to online registration via the official MEF EXPO website. The ministry specifies that a “required QR code” will be issued to registered participants and extends an early welcome to the expected public.
