Master’s Degree in The United States: Fulbright Applications Officially Open

February 1, 2026

The U.S. Embassy in Haiti has announced the opening of applications for the 2027–2028 Fulbright Foreign Student Program, a fully funded scholarship enabling international students to pursue graduate studies in the United States. The program targets candidates holding a bachelor’s degree who wish to undertake a master’s program or research project, with full coverage of academic and living expenses.

Fulbright is one of the flagship international academic exchange programs supported by the U.S. Department of State, promoting academic excellence, leadership, and intercultural understanding. Each year, it awards scholarships to thousands of future leaders worldwide to study, conduct research, or teach in the United States while gaining cultural immersion.

Selected candidates will receive funding covering tuition, living expenses, health insurance, and international travel. Most fields are eligible except clinical disciplines and MBAs. Selection is based on academic excellence, clarity of the proposed project, and leadership potential, and requires strong English proficiency and a solid academic record.

The application deadline is April 30, 2026. Interested students are encouraged to apply before that date and consult the official academic exchange website managed by the U.S. Embassy for detailed eligibility criteria and application procedures.
