On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ in French) issued an international wanted notice against journalist Guerrier Henri. He is accused of alleged involvement in the organization labeled as terrorist, “Viv Ansanm,” as well as of illicit enrichment and money laundering. According to police authorities, the evidence gathered is sufficient to justify the launch of judicial proceedings.
Henri, known for hosting the show Boukante Lapawol, was summoned to appear on July 28 at 10 a.m. but failed to present himself, claiming he had received no official notification. His attorneys, who did show up at the DCPJ, reportedly attempted unsuccessfully to have the summons reworded after waiting several hours without being heard.
In response to his refusal to comply with the summons, Haitian authorities have requested assistance from Interpol, triggering international police cooperation procedures. A judicial source confirmed that Guerrier Henri’s name has now been added to Interpol’s database.
Now considered a fugitive, the journalist is being actively sought by law enforcement. The DCPJ states that the investigation is in an advanced stage and that further legal measures may soon be undertaken.
