Daniela Kroslak Takes The Helm Of The United Nations Support Office In Haiti

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, has appointed Daniela Kroslak to the position of Deputy Secretary-General and head of the United Nations Support Office in Haiti (BANUH).

This decision comes in a context where international support remains crucial to accompany political and institutional processes in Haiti.

With over 25 years of experience in political affairs and peace operations, Daniela Kroslak is recognized for her expertise in mediation, strategic coordination, and the promotion of human rights. She recently contributed to the evaluation of the UN mission in Libya and led a strategic review for the African Union.

Having also served in Mali, she must now lead governance, political dialogue, and institutional consolidation efforts in Haiti at a time deemed critical for the country’s stability.
