The mobile payment platform MonCash announced on October 16 the launch of the fund disbursement process for the national back-to-school support program, financed by the Haitian Government and the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES). This initiative aims to assist thousands of families in preparing for the 2025–2026 academic year.
According to details provided by the institution, a list of 335,075 beneficiaries was submitted by FAES, among whom 51,687 have already been formally identified and will receive their funds in the coming days. “A rigorous verification and identification process has been implemented to ensure the reliability and transparency of the transfers,” MonCash stated.
The company affirmed its full adherence to international standards on compliance and anti–money laundering. Payments will be made directly to the confirmed beneficiaries’ MonCash accounts, allowing them to freely access and use the funds.
In acknowledging its collaboration with the Government and FAES, MonCash emphasized that such partnerships strengthen trust in local digital solutions and promote greater financial inclusion. “We are proud to contribute to initiatives that support Haitian families and help drive the country’s economic development,” the company concluded.
This operation — combining technological efficiency and social policy — marks an important milestone in the modernization of public aid management in Haiti.
