In a publication on X (formerly Twitter), the Minister of Justice, Attorney Carlos Hercule, announced that Attorney Lionel Constant Bourgoin has been named the Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince.

In 2011, Attorney Bourgoin already occupied this post. He led the Anti-Corruption Unit (known as Unité de Lutte contre la Corruption in French) as director in 2016.
