Willy Pierre and Clevickson Servius were arrested “while they were present for the verification of the container” at Cap-Terminal S.A. 2 in Quartier Morin. Investigators from the BLTS “immediately placed them under arrest” for international illicit trafficking of firearms and ammunition.
This arrest is part of a targeted operation carried out “on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 6, 2026” by the Northern Brigade for the Fight Against Drug Trafficking, with the support of customs surveillance. The operation concerned a container arriving from the United States, identified as ASJU5884650 and handled by the D CARGO agency.
During the inspection, law enforcement discovered “five beige, cube-shaped cardboard boxes marked L663.” These packages were concealed inside the container inspected at the port site.
Their contents included “nine (9) pistols of various brands and calibers,” nine magazines, and 5,500 rounds of 7.62×39 ammunition. According to the HNP, the seized weapons were “subject to a detailed inventory by the authorities.”
The legal findings were carried out by “Me Bimps Noël, acting presiding judge of the Quartier Morin Justice of the Peace Court,” assisted by his bailiff. The Haitian National Police indicate that this seizure “is the subject of an in-depth investigation” aimed at identifying the circuits and responsibilities linked to this trafficking.
