AmCham Haiti: a new leadership team headed by Andress Appolon

July 5, 2025

The American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AmCham Haiti), founded in 1980 to strengthen economic ties between Haiti and the United States, has elected its new board of directors. As a major player on the economic scene, the institution facilitates investment, promotes bilateral trade, and fosters exchanges between Haitian and American business communities.

Leading this new team for the 2025–2027 term is Ms. Andress Appolon, representing GB Group, who will serve as president. She will be supported by Mr. Clément Bélizaire (EPOWER) as first vice president and Ms. Tatiana Siméon (CAP TERMINAL) as second vice president, according to the official announcement.

The board also includes Mr. Frédéric Vaval (Alternative Insurance Company) as treasurer and Ms. Christelle Vaval (Cabinet Salès) as secretary. Two other members, Mr. Maulik Radia (Plastech) and Mr. Jean-Philippe Boisson (Comme Il Faut), round out the team under the coordination of executive director Ms. Erika Rosenthal.

This new leadership aims to continue AmCham’s core missions, such as organizing conferences, supporting businesses, and working with public institutions. Driven by a dynamic that combines local expertise with an international outlook, the board plans to help revive the country’s economic growth while strengthening its ties with the United States.

Through this renewal, AmCham reaffirms its strategic role in Haiti’s entrepreneurial landscape. Guided by Ms. Appolon, the Chamber positions itself as a key driver for the development of the private sector and Haiti’s economic integration.
