The former Director General of the National Old-Age Insurance Office (ONA), Jemley Marc Jean-Baptiste, was arrested on Friday, February 7, 2025, by order of Investigating Judge Loubens Élysée. The decision was made following his hearing in an investigation into embezzlement of public assets and abuse of authority.
